What drew you to recruitment in the first place?
Ana: I love meeting new people and providing advise and support. Recruitment allows me to meet new people everyday and to give out advise and support.
Ravi:One of my personal motivators is to support others and help them to get to where they want to be. What other great way to do this than to support individuals into amazing careers.
Richard: I will talk to almost anyone, especially if there’s a drink on offer! I enjoy finding out what makes people tick, what clients’ problems are and finding solutions for clients and candidates. Plus there’s always a good networking session to be had with a drink or two.
Describe your personality in three words.
Ana: Creative, Outgoing, Supportive.
Ravi: I am a rebel.
Richard: Individual, out-going, adventurous.
One of ENG’s strongest values is inspiration. Who inspires you the most?
Ana: Tony Robbins – He is a great example of becoming successful through sheer determination, patience and hard work.
Ravi: Too many to name. Musician – Otis Redding, Sportsperson – Maradona, Activist – Malcolm X, Scientist – Nikola Tesla, Historical Figure – Genghis Khan (Controversial I know).
Richard: Nelson Mandela – it does not matter who you are, what stage of your life you are at or where you’ve come from – we are all individual, and everyone can be a success.
What would you do if you didn’t work in recruitment?
Ana: Learning and Development.
Ravi: TV Chef much better than Jamie Oliver not quite as good as Gordon Ramsey.
Richard: I’d be a master brewer (no experience in it, but wouldn’t it be great).
How do you spend your spare time?
Ana: Watching films and TV shows and spend time with friends.
Ravi: Mostly surrounded by children…. My own of course.
Richard: Spare time, whats’ that? My two boys (11 and 8) take up most of my spare time, other than that, hobbies include tennis, golf, rugby, cooking and pottering around the garden! I also do a bit of volunteering at sporting events and have worked at the 2015 Rugby World Cup (Villa Park), The 2017 ICC Champions Trophy (Edgbaston), The 2017 Women’s Cricket World Cup (Derby), T20 Finals Day (Edgbaston) and am looking forward to the ICC World Cup at Edgbaston this year.
