What drew you to recruitment in the first place?

Luke: Recruitment for me offers a platform to learn every day. I also love the recruitment industry, because when done well, changes peoples lives for the better. Work encompasses a major chunk of our time, so getting it right for both candidate and client is a rewarding feeling.

Describe your personality in three words.

Luke: Tenacious, inquisitive, methodical.

One of ENG’s strongest values is inspiration. Who inspires you the most?

Luke:  Christopher Hitchens – whether or not you agree with his opinions; he was a scholar, author and essayist that spoke and wrote with wit, intellect and fire in his belly!

What would you do if you didn’t work in recruitment?

Luke: If I did not work in a recruitment environment, I would most likely be doing something technical within HR. HR and recruitment often go hand-in-hand, and making a positive difference in the work-life of others gives me job satisfaction.

How do you spend your spare time?

Luke: I love reading! Anything that I can find that is; Horror; Philosophy; Politics; or Technical is on my bookshelf. I also love learning to code, keeping fit, and playing retro arcade games (including on my Raspberry Pi!)

What are you most excited about working at Executive Network Group?

Luke: I am most excited by the potential to improve my existing (and add to) skill-set. ENG offers a LOT of opportunities to  learn new skills and to achieve.
