£40000 - £45000 per annum
HSE Recruitment are currently exclusively working with a FTSE 250 property company on the recruitment of a Health and Safety Consultant/Trainer. This role will be home based with travel across the UK with a focus on the South and South East. Ideal locations for someone to be based would be Kent, Essex, or London. You must have a driving licence for this role and be comfortable with travel.
As a Health and Safety Consultant/Trainer, you will be working within a well developed team on expanding the companies training and consultancy provision, as well as working within their well established property management team. 60% of your time will be spent visiting clients, mostly in retail and industrial estates, helping them with their yearly updates, compliance,
and emergency planning etc. The rest of the time you will be focused on developing and implementing the internal training for colleagues across the business. This role requires a practical and hands on practitioner with either experience of training, or a passion for developing this skill set. Our client is keen for their training to come from real life experience so it is more important that you have strong practical experience to draw on.
As a minimum you will have a NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) although Diploma (or equivalent) would be beneficial. Also of interest would be fire safety experience or qualifications and grad membership of IOSH (if Diploma qualified). Ideal experience would be a background in property management, facilities management, or consultancies and ideally you will have spent time home working previously. This role is completely home based and requires someone with excellent time management responsibilities, comfortable with navigating the complexities of booking your own visits and training/managing your own diary. You will also have an extremely strong work ethic, be highly motivated and interested in learning and developing.
