HSE Recruitment are currently exclusively working with a leading construction materials supply company on the recruitment of an Interim Health and Safety Manager for a period of 3-6 months. This role is based from the North West and involves large amounts of travel around the region (and occasionally further afield).
As a Health and Safety Manager you will be responsible for providing, maintaining and communicating HSE across the division, ensuring compliance against ISO 45001 and promoting a positive safety mentality across the many sites. You will need to be an extremely adaptive personality, able to work with, engage and communicate with all levels and all management styles, working with multiple stakeholders across up to 15 sites. You will be a strong and effective Safety professional, with extensive and demonstrable experience of similar interim roles - and capable of getting to grips with things quickly and inspiring trust during a time of change.
You will ideally be NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) qualified and will have a strong background as a H*S Manager within manufacturing or production environments. Some knowledge of distribution or warehousing would also be a distinct advantage. In return you will receive a day rate of circa £400-500 per day (through Umbrella PAYE Inside IR35) a well as mileage for travel.
