Internal Communications Specialist
Day rate contract or FTC
£350 day rate (inside IR35) or up to £50,000 FTC
4-6 month initial with potential extension
This role can be performed remotely, however ability to travel to the office near West Midlands once a week would be desirable
Network HR have been exclusively assigned to hire x2 Interim Internal Communications Specialist for a client in the Distribution industry, to work the delivery of communications on a portfolio of business transformation. We are looking for someone who can work at pace, get involved in strategy but happy to keep delivering what is needed from day one. The successful Internal Communications Specialist will be the newest addition to a welcoming, friendly and supportive team. The initial contract is for between 4-6 months, but there is potential opportunities for extension /or temp-to-perm arrangements.
Key Requirements & Responsibilities
• Extensive internal communications experience
• A willingness to roll up your sleeves and deliver tactical communications as needed
• Ability to be accurate whilst working at pace
• Deliver dedicated and tailored advice and support to an assigned business area
• Understanding of internal comms platforms like SharePoint/intranet and Popullo/other mass email platforms
• Comfortable dealing with front line colleagues (man in a van) right through to Directors and everyone in between
• Work with the business area to translate strategy into clear objectives that are aligned to the future needs and future goals of the business area in order to provide accurate and timely support that enables them to achieve their goals
• Combine key knowledge with excellent verbal and written communication skills (there will be a written test, so a high-quality writer is essential)
• Measure success so we can do more of the good stuff
• Happy to work with External Comms to take nice internal stories outside and vice versa
• Promotes a positive safety culture through visible proactive, consistent and influential behaviours and communications skills
• Actively demonstrate and promote the Company Values, and positively contribute to a customer- oriented approach
• Uses expertise to help direct strategy based on detailed analysis
• Drive and deliver brilliant customer service in line with expectations, operating at all times with a sense of purpose
