A Key Account Manager is required to join the successful aerospace division of a global OEM seals and fluid ccomponents manufacturer. Our client is a brand leader with a huge market share across their product range.
Key Account Manager- Aerospace Fluid Systems
Salary: £50-60000 + Bonus + Car + Excellent Pension + Healthcare + Life Assurance + 33 days annual leave
Home based role but ideal location would be wider Midlands area due to proximity of clients
Reporting to the General Manager the Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing aerospace business with OEM and large manufacturing organisations throughout the UK.
Duties:
As Key Account Manager you will be expected to manage and grow customer relationships throughout full business cycle from identifying new leads and projects to successful commercial conclusion.
o Deliver the company's sales objectives and maximise profitability.
o Manage strategic account relationships with designated aerospace clients in the UK.
o Define and implement customer development plans to support budget and account growth.
o Ensure full market coverage by geography and sales channel.
o Work closely with internal engineering and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Experience:
You will already be a successful Key Account / National Account / Business Development / Sales Manager within the aerospace sector and seeking a new challenge and long term career with a leading global brand. Personal attributes should include:
o Degree / HND or equivalent education preferably in an Engineering or Scientific discipline
o Proven sales background with emphasis on key account management at head office level of corporate buying groups.
o Knowledge of hydraulics, pumps, seals or similar fluid power commodities ideal but not essential
o Knowledge of aerospace engineering and manufacturing sector preferred
o Able to prepare business proposals and request for quotations and conclude price negotiations
o The ability to manage multi-level sales relationships across engineering and purchasing contacts
o Self-motivated with ability to manage own diary to maximum effect.
o Frequent travel within the UK with occasional overnight stay and some international travel as required.
