Network HR are working exclusively with a prestigious Investment Management business for the appointment of a Talent Acquisition Manager in their central London offices. As the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will design and deliver a direct sourcing strategy to identify, assess and successfully negotiate new talent into the business from Campus/graduate through to Vice President level across their front-office in Europe. The majority of the recruitment within the organisation can be described as early-career/semi-lateral i.e., 0 – 4 years’ experience. The successful candidate will design and implement a sophisticated, yet, efficient mapping and sourcing process and apply robust talent assessment to identify emerging talent in the European markets. The successful candidate will need to be a talented “hunter” and will be able to map talent in niche and competitive markets globally.
Responsibilities will include:
Actively drive sourcing, assessment and management of candidates (from approach to offer).
Interviewing candidates and the administration and interpretation of psychometric assessments (Hogan) for selection decisions.
Proactively map and direct source external investment professional talent pools
Collaborate with hiring managers to write job specifications for current openings and advertise vacancies on careers pages, job boards and social networks (e.g., LinkedIn)
For relevant roles, manage relationships with key search firms to ensure a high level of service is delivered to candidates and internal recruiting managers and stakeholders, ensuring strong ROI and KPIs are met
Take responsibility for managing and facilitating the onboarding programme for all new joiners
Ensure the organisations Employee Value Proposition is evidenced in all aspects of their talent acquisition and onboarding activities
Provide leadership and guidance to the outsourced recruitment co-ordinator to all administrative elements of the recruitment process are executed to a very high standard
Recruitment process lead for the Workday system – in partnership with the HR Systems manager, and supported by the recruitment co-ordinator, ensure the Workday recruitment module is being used effectively by all stakeholders and actively monitor, assess and implement its updated enhancements where applicable (typically bi-annually)
Ownership for all recruitment reporting, metrics, dashboard and analytics – building new reports and dashboards where needed and setting and monitoring KPIs
Manage direct candidate applications, internal candidate applications and employee referral processes.
The Talent Acquisition Manager will need to adopt a true business partnering approach to their work. Their credible yet authentic style will allow for relationships to develop quickly and position them appropriately to challenge thinking, suggest new ideas, present market research and report on interesting trends (on general recruitment and remuneration MI).
You will also need:
· Experience in a lead EMEA (or global) talent acquisition position, being responsible for managing professional hires in Private Equity, Investment Management, Investment Banking etc.
· Demonstrable recent experience in managing and directly sourcing mandates
· Strong data (excel) skills, as well as data analysis, interpretation and reporting capabilities
· Experience in using psychometric tools preferred in Hogan / SHL (training can be provided)
