A great opportunity for a Facilities Management Bid Director is available with this large service provider.  You will work from their offices across the country, which include Midlands, South East, South West, Scotland, London and the North East.
 
Working in the Soft Services side of Facilities Management (Soft FM), you will play a critical part in achieving the company’s growth target, across a mix of new-business and re-bids. With a salary of circa £90-110k, plus car allowance, good pension and bonus, this role will be rewarding both financially and in terms of job satisfaction.
 
The successful Bid Director will:
  • Lead a small and agile team to win Soft FM bids within the Public Sector arena, with values up to circa £25m per year over a 10-year contract.
  • Work flexibly across a variety of contracting structures, some of which take many months to come to fruition, others being completed within a matter of weeks.
  • Play an active part in your Business Unit, leading your own complex and important bids, whilst supporting and guiding your team in their own activities, and providing advice and guidance to the wider growth team.
  • As part of the Leadership Team, execute the business growth strategy in collaboration with the Business Development Director, and other members of the growth function.
 
The successful Bid Director will have the following skills and experience:
  • Significant demonstrable experience of working at a senior level within Bidding and Business Development, within Soft FM, within the Public Services arena, and therefore knowledge of government procurement models.
  • A history of success in leading and closing deals with values in excess of £10m Total Contract value.
  • Experience of large, complex business to business sales.
  • A passion for working face-to-face with your team, in the office, on a very regular basis.
 
In return, the salary for this role will be from circa £90,000 to £110,000, plus a car allowance, with great bonus and pension structures.  You will have the opportunity to work with the leadership team and the benefits of that exposure for you and your team.
