Role: Group Learning & Development Manager
Salary: £75,000- £85,000 + Bonus
Location: Central London/Hybrid working

Network HR are leading an exciting search for a Group Learning & Development Manager to join a small to medium sized, multi-faceted Insurance client undergoing significant transformation. The Group Learning & Development Manager will oversee the design, development and delivery of learning activities and programmes that supports the firms learning and development strategy. This strategy will support onboarding of new hires, enhance people capabilities, improve performance management and talent development. You will also be involved with the Implementation and management of learning and development initiatives, projects and activities supporting the wider strategy. This role will sit with a lean, high functioning HR team and will report into the Group Head of Talent. This is a brilliant role for an experienced Learning & Development manager who’s ready for their next challenge. Responsibilities will include:

People Development

• Develop and manage onboarding activities to ensure that new hires are onboarded sufficiently
• Develop appropriate group-wide solutions which enhance people capabilities, meets careers aspirations, drives organisational performance and improves workforce diversity
• Support the implementation and coordination of the emerging talent strategy (graduates, apprentices, internships)
• Develop pulse, impact and analysis methodologies which report on employee engagement, behaviour change and skills improvement
• Continue to embed digital learning as a credible learning resource that supports organisational objectives and agile/remote working
• Design appropriate e-learning, video and online materials to support HR strategies

Leadership Development

• Management of high-impact and engaging thought leadership, employee productivity and management training programmes (such as the Business Excellence Leadership Programme) which improves management capabilities
• Articulate and interpret psychometric and behaviour testing to identify employee and organisation abilities and tendencies
• Oversight of value/outcomes driven coaching programmes to support mid/senior managers
• Provide project, administration and reporting for people development, performance management, talent management and succession planning cycles

Performance Management

• Responsibility for embedding a competency-based framework that underpins a values-based culture
• Develop communications and resources to support timely completion of performance management based activities
• Embed, maintain and enhance organisational approach to agile performance management

Talent Management

• Oversight and monitoring of career development plans across the organisation for high potential individuals
• Support the HR Business Partners as first line support for talent management queries
• Contribute to embedding succession planning and talent management culturally through bi-annual Talent Reviews
• Accurate collation and timely reporting of bi-annual progress updates to support Talent Reviews

The successful candidate will have solid experience of designing and delivering L&D development programmes and will have a creative and outcome focused mindset. You will also need:

• A financial services background will be desirable for this appointment
• Experience of deploying digital learning strategy, systems and impact analysis
• Experience of implementing emerging talent strategies and onboarding programmes
• Able to curate and develop digital learning content on Adapt, Articulate, Adobe suite, Camtasia, Stream, iSpring or similar e-learning digital authoring tools
• Excellent stakeholder management
