Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Leicester
Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 OTE – salary is depending on experience
3 shift rotation
Multiple positions available
Two Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer positions have become available for a Manufacturer based in Coventry working across two of their sites (only 5 minutes from each other). You will be a part of a team that delivers maintenance support to maintain site compliance, improve the safety, quality and efficiency of all assets and cost effectively achieve the uptime and productivity targets required to grow sales and profitability.
Main requirements for the role:
Due to the nature of the products manufactured here, experience within Chemicals or explosives would be beneficial (ATEX experience). The business is really supportive and there will be ongoing training and development as a lot of their machinery is bespoke to them.
You will be working for an independent manufacturer who are experts in their field creating their products for the industrial, professional markets. The organisation has full control over every stage of their production process, from the formulation of their own specialist adhesives by their in-house Chemists, to the coating of the adhesive. Through to how the final product is formatted, converted and despatched.

- Qualified Engineer, City & Guilds qualified or equivalent trained dual-skilled maintenance engineer with strong skills across mechanical/electrical disciplines. Electrically biased is preferred – PLC’s
- Extensive experience in service driven production/process industries.
- Good working knowledge of health and safety legislation in manufacturing and maintenance environments.
- Ability to identify and implement actions to improve/maintain productivity.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a production environment.
- Ability to coach and mentor team members in engineering practices and techniques.
- Excellent work ethic and attitude to the role
- Must have a full clean UK Driving License
