4 on 4 off shift pattern: 06:00-18:00/18:00-06:00.
 
A fast moving Food Manufacturer based in Derby are looking for 3 Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join their busy engineering function to ensure that all machinery, plant, equipment, site structures, car parks, utilities and landscapes are at all times in good working order and of a high standard of repair.

You will support other members of the Engineering Team and you will work independently and as part of the wider Engineering team to maintain all aspects of the site.

Your role as a Maintenance Engineer will consist of the following:

1. To carry out daily maintenance within set budgets and across a variety of trades. This will include planned and reactive maintenance, keeping accurate maintenance logs and records.
2. Execute work is carried out to the highest possible standards in a clean and orderly manner across the whole of the site.
3. Assist in Project Delivery
4. Perform maintenance on all machinery and equipment complies with the Health and Safety regulations
5. Undertaking unsupervised maintenance tasks ensuring all procedures are followed.
6. Carrying out maintenance or supporting engineers in Low Risk, High Care and High Risk environments
7. To liaise effectively with and supervise all external maintenance contractors and ensure that they follow Health and Safety standards.
8. Carry out routine repairs as required within the remit of your role or escalate appropriately as required.
9. Responsible for adherence to H&S policy, procedure, and targets.

 
The experienced candidate must have a HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and also have an FMCG background, ideally in Food Manufacturing.
