Environmental Manager
Salary: £50,000
Location: Hereford
The HSE Recruitment Network has been exclusively engaged by a leading manufacturer, who are currently looking for an Environmental Manager. Contributing to the leadership of the business, leading their Environmental strategy, policy, and procedure, ensuring compliance, permitting, pollution control, carbon reduction, and energy management.
Key objectives:
• Develop and manage all environmental regulatory compliance
• Lead on Environmental strategy, policy, and procedure
• Develop and maintain the Environmental Management System
• Maintain ISO 14001 accreditation
• Liaising with regulatory bodies, and keeping up to date with legislative changes
• Environmental auditing, oversee environmental performance across the group
• Permitting, pollution control, carbon management, energy management, waste management and action plans.
What we are looking for:
• Qualified in Environmental Management, degree / diploma
• Proven experience in leading environmental management, ideally gained in a manufacturing / engineering environment
• Experience of EMS
• Experience of ISO 14001 certification
• Good communication skills and ability to be an effective member of the site leadership team
