Key Account Manager – Building Services

Our client is a leading provider of building services, delivering innovative solutions to customers across the UK. They operate in a wide range of sectors, from healthcare and education to leisure and retail. They are currently recruiting for a Key Account Manager to manage a portfolio of high-level buildings across London.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing key accounts and clients’ expectations. This is very much an operational role managing teams of people and working to fix any potential issues on site.

Responsibilities:

• Manage sites and buildings across London, being responsible for 12 Facilities Managers reporting into yourself.
• Manage the clients’ expectations and work closely with them to rectify any issues.
• Develop and implement project plans, quality plans, risk management plans, and communication plans.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, codes of practice, and health and safety legislation.
• Monitor project performance and report on progress, finances, and risks.
• Ensure that costs are managed effectively, and projects are delivered within agreed budgets.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

 
Requirements:
 

• Either a degree or equivalent qualification in building services or a related discipline, or hands on experience in a similar Facilities Management role.
• Strong knowledge of facilities management processes and practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in the use of project management software, such as Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge of building regulations, codes of practice, and health and safety legislation.
