Finance Manager

A leading business with significant growth plans is seeking a Finance Manager to join at this exciting time. The role is required to financially support a number of key customers and business partner with a range of internal stakeholders.
As Finance Manager you will be responsible for conducting financial analysis and business performance reviews on an ongoing basis, to co-ordinate and support the preparation of month-end and to fulfil ad-hoc and special group-related analysis. This role will support the Financial Controller at both the strategic and transactional level for the financial management for a business unit which has revenues of c£50m.
Responsibilities will include:
• Month end closing of management accounts
• Ensure all income and costs are included and correctly allocated to the client P&Ls
• Drive cost improvements and run cost forecasts
• Oversee the client invoicing process and support the business to define accruals
• Supporting the Operational Management team in analysing their P&L and client profitability
• Producing flexible and robust financial models suitable for several uses including review, pricing, budgeting, and business planning
• Management oversight of additional aspects of the finance function (AR, AP, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, IFRS compliance, Balance Sheet reconciliation).
To be considered for the role you will be:
• CIMA / ACCA qualified
• Experience as a user of SAP would be beneficial)
• Knowledge of best practice in financial reporting
