Technical Network are working in partnership with a market leading global manufacturer who are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager for their business based in the West Midlands. This is a new role to support engineering development and growth, drive improvement, raise the standards on site and support some exciting projects.

Salary c£65000 + benefits
Location: West Midlands (commutable from Wolverhampton, Dudley, Telford, Stafford, Stoke, Shrewsbury, Kidderminster areas)

Job Description
As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager you be responsible for leading and managing a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering team to implement best practice production engineering practices to improve productivity whilst planning for future CapEx investment across plant and facilities.
o Identifying and Implementing new manufacturing technologies, including specification of requirements, capex justification, planning and implementation
o Supporting cross functional teams to improve plant KPIs, ensuring production attainment, efficiency, quality and scrap reduction objectives accomplishment
o Proven leader within manufacturing projects and production engineering - cradle to grave ownership
o Committed to wanting to make a difference and developing their team's potential
o Passion for delivering manufacturing innovation and best practice
Experience
Applications are sought from experienced Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Managers with significant experience leading engineering teams in a high volume production environment.
o Professionally qualified – HND/ Degree in Engineering discipline, ideally with additional management and Lean/ Six Sigma training
o Experience gained in regulatory led, quality complaint manufacturing industries such as automotive, aerospace, medical devices, building products sectors
o Proven leadership & development of engineering and technical teams
o Led significant new capital investment projects
o Lean manufacturing and operational improvement strategy deployment
o Strong planning and prioritising ability, problem solving and communication skills
o Analytical data driven and methodical leader
