Head of Soft Services
Up to £55,000

A fantastic opportunity to join a large national FM Service Provider with an excellent reputation. They are currently looking to appoint a Head of Soft Services to lead the delivery of soft services across an established contract based in central London. This will include cleaning, security, FOH and workplace support functions (account administration and helpdesk). The role will work collaboratively within the account leadership team, leading a team of 75 staff to deliver a high quality, consistent service,

This role is incredibly varied and the purpose is to take operational ownership for soft services side of a prestigious client.

The ideal candidate will have:
• All elements of the management of the external supply chain and facilities in-house staff including performance management, target setting and quality monitoring taking corrective action as required.
• Setting rotas, developing call out schedules and monitoring attendance to ensure that necessary services are provided at all times
• Take responsibility for building customer advocacy with all stakeholders and colleagues
• Understand key business drivers, actively develop and implements solutions to enhance the delivery of exceptional service
• Report on business performance
• Provide strong leadership and management
• Ensure a culture of high employee engagement and Encourage staff to meet their full potential, foster teamwork by creating an environment where ideas and innovation are explored
• Take responsibility for the training and development of employees through the annual appraisal process and account succession planning.
• Be financially accountable, including the preparation, monitoring and management of the budget in line with agreed contract objectives.
Lead the workplace support functions (account helpdesk and administration) of the account to deliver a high performing, customer focused, streamlined approach to service delivery and budget control

The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role in the management and delivery of Facilities Management services – Ideally with a strong background in Security &
Notable and credible experience of managing operational staff
IOSH Managing Safely or higher qualification in Health & Safety
Good working knowledge of health and safety and ability to interpret policy and legislation and implement best practice across all service line working practices
CMI / ILM - management level 5 or equivalent
Strong leadership skills: influence, support and steer a large, diverse team
