My client, a large Healthcare service provider is seeking an experienced Payroll manager to join an established team. The successful candidate will provide leadership, direction and effective day to day management of the Payroll team ensuring accurate and timely payments are made to all staff. You will also be responsible for the production of accurate statutory returns including the production, submission and distribution of RTI reports, P60s and P11ds. The ideal candidate will have experience of using Itrent and have exposure to international payroll runs. Responsibilities will include:

• Monthly payroll – ensuring an accurate and efficient service whilst looking for opportunities to improve processes
• Reporting - Ensure that all reports are checked, validated, and accurate prior to distribution
• HMRC duties
• Line Management - Manage and motivate members of payroll team including the personal development and performance targets, ensuring appraisals are completed within a timely manner and training implemented to ensure succession planning
• Financial tasks- Acting as one of the two authorised signatories for BACS and CHAPS payments
• Responsibility for ensuring all expenses are processed correctly and cross checked in line with policy and HMRC guidelines
Experience requires:
• Multi-sector payroll management & improvement experience
• ITrent experience
• International Payroll Experience
• Experience of consolidating payrolls
• Finance Experience
• CPP qualified
• Degree qualified
