- Drive sales growth: Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to increase market share across key industry sectors.
- Build customer relationships: Engage with senior decision-makers, including directors and other key stakeholders, to understand customer requirements and develop long-term partnerships.
- Deliver tailored solutions: Develop compelling commercial propositions incorporating total cost of ownership (TCO), finance, operating leases, residual values and aftersales support.

- Manage tenders and quotations: Lead customer tender and request-for-quotation (RFQ) processes, ensuring submissions are commercially competitive, accurate and delivered on time.
- Develop customer strategies: Segment accounts, prioritise opportunities and maintain consistent follow-up to maximise conversion rates.
- Collaborate internally: Work closely with finance, aftermarket, parts, dealer networks and other internal teams to deliver effective customer solutions.
- Support financial performance: Ensure commercial proposals are transparent, profitable and aligned with customer requirements, including appropriate financing and residual value arrangements.
- Monitor market opportunities: Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitor activity and customer investment plans to identify opportunities for growth.
You will ideally bring:
- 10–15 years' experience in sales and marketing, with at least five years in a key account management role within the UK market.
- A proven track record of winning new business, developing strategic accounts and delivering sales growth within a B2B environment.
- Experience in construction equipment, heavy machinery or a related capital equipment sector.
- An established network within one or more of the following sectors: quarry and aggregates, waste and recycling, major contractors or equipment rental.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including knowledge of asset finance, operating leases, residual values, full-service contracts and total cost of ownership.
- The ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements and present confidently to senior customer stakeholders.
- Experience managing tenders, RFQs, quotations and structured sales processes.
