Caribbean Celebrations – ENG’s Summer Party!

Summertime at Executive Network Group is a time for celebration, reflection and positivity. Last Friday we enjoyed our Annual Summer Party – Caribbean style!

This past Friday was our annual summer celebrations. Each year we mark the closing of the first half of the year with our “Summer Conference”, which gives us a half-year overview of both team and individual achievements so far, as well as looking at the vision ahead for the rest of the year. 2016 has been good for us, but what lies ahead is even more exciting! We gathered together at the Park Regis hotel, with fantastic views over Birmingham, to share a glass of bubbly with our teams as our MD Matt Ellis presented the whole company with not only ENG’s vision for the rest of the year – but the vision leading up to 2020.

With some very exciting announcements (look out for our next blog post on those very things!), and some fantastic awards for the highest achievers and most inspiring efforts, Matt enthusiastically told us: “This is truly the most exciting time to be a part of Executive Network Group. Our vision and mission is not just to be better at recruitment, but to make recruitment better.”

After the celebrations and presentations, we headed back to Network House where a Caribbean Carnival was waiting for us. With live steel band music and acoustic songs from local singer Ricardo Thompson, authentic Caribbean Dancers served us drinks as we enjoyed the early-August sunshine. Those who are athletically inclined (and those who are not!) enjoyed mastering the art of volleyball, including a tense game between the ladies and gents. There was also a coconut shy, limbo, giant jenga, and a few games of “Rum Pong”, providing heaps of fun and entertainment for everyone.

We were then all treated to a delicious Caribbean BBQ including jerk chicken, fried dumplings and rice & peas, keeping us full and energetic as the celebrations lasted well into the evening. Check out the below photo’s, showing just a few of the highlights from the evening. We’re now looking forward to our next quarterly event and (dare we say it) our Christmas Party! To keep up with all the happenings at Network House, follow us on Instagram!
