World Kindness Day.

Coinciding brilliantly with the John Lewis/Waitrose Christmas advert today released “Give a little love”, inspired by the random acts of kindness that we witnessed across the country during the first lockdown this year.

To say 2020 has been a tough time for many would be an understatement, you only have to turn on any news channel to be inundated with depressing statistics about the pandemic.

World Kindness Day stood out to us here at ENG, especially with the current UK restrictions taking us all into another lockdown, the difference this time however is we’ve already navigated through 7 months of uncertainty - and we also don’t have the added advantage of glorious sunshine!

Many will be feeling the effects of this year, whether that be through economic strain, health, or general wellbeing today is a perfect day for reflection to of course be kind to others but yourself too.

In times like these, we could all do with being kinder to each other, and using self-care tips to be kind to ourselves! We may not be able to meet up but we can still show togetherness, whether it’s reaching out via phone or on a video calling platform, small gestures can make a big difference.

The following tips are from randomactsofkindness.org to encourage it to be the norm.
