Where did you work before you joined ENG?

I was working on a contract basis for Harrods, a luxury experiential retail brand headquartered in London. I was brought in to help upskill the business in the direct headhunting approach to Recruitment, responsible for headhunting senior candidates (predominately Head Office), process improvements, projects and implementations

What drew you to recruitment in the first place?

I actually wanted to get into sales immediately after University and whilst applying for these roles, I discovered recruitment. This is ironic because I landed at La Fosse Associates as a Delivery Consultant (no sales), initially with the idea of stepping into the sales role within 6-12 months. When this opportunity came around I realised that actually, delivery was my sweet spot and chose to stick to that.

Describe your personality in three words.

Honest, ambitious, fair

One of ENG’s strongest values is inspiration. Who inspires you the most?

Ant Middleton. Watching Ant on his various shows, including “SAS: Who Dares Wins”, I have always admired his leadership style – he’s tough but fair and gives praise when it’s due.

How do you spend your spare time?

My career could have gone many different ways. I have always thought that if I had discovered boxing or MMA at a younger age I would have gone pro. Prior to Recruitment, though, I was a Chef – I still really enjoy cooking and could easily do it every day.

What are you most excited about working at Executive Network Group?

The people. That’s what sold the role/company to me in the first place, everyone I have met so far has been lovely and made me feel welcome.
