New starter spotlight - Will Terry & Will Ross

It’s time to welcome our two new recruits!

August has seen ENG welcome another two recruitment professionals, strengthening our Procurement People brand in our Birmingham office.

Will Terry joins the brand as a Senior Business Development Consultant, focusing on the Social Housing, FM and Construction verticals within Procurement across the UK. Will joins us from G2 Recruitment where he specialised in a niche sector of IT for 2.5 years working as a billing manager, he is now keen to expand his knowledge within a business development role.

Will Ross is also a new addition to our Procurement People brand, joining as a Recruitment Consultant focused on mid-senior level assignments across the Retail, Logistics and Events sectors. Before joining the team Will focused on the FMCG sector within Huxley, SThree for the last 18 months.

What drew you to recruitment in the first place?

Will Terry: I was initially attracted to recruitment as I had a friend working in the industry and they said I may be good at it. I love the job as you can add so much value to the market by supporting great companies finding their talent.

Will Ross: I saw a lot of people who used to work for me go on to have success within the industry, being from a sales background, I’m competitive, good with people and motivated by building my own earnings.

Describe your personality in three words.

Will Terry: Inquisitive, Competitive, Outgoing.

Will Ross: Fun, Laid back (counting it as one) & confident.

One of ENG’s strongest values is inspiration. Who inspires you the most?

Will Terry:Anyone willing to better themselves.

Will Ross: I do (selectively) follow motivational speakers such as Gary V, Eric Thomas, Grant Cardone etc. but I think Elon Musk is the real deal, he’s actually massively impacting the world we live in

What would you do if you didn’t work in recruitment?

Will Terry: I would probably still be a chef

Will Ross: I’d like to think I’d be pursuing either acting or presenting (TV/radio) but realistically I’d probably still be knocking doors!

How do you spend your spare time?

Will Terry:Eating out, Socialising with friends and swimming.

Will Ross: I regularly go to the gym, but I like to balance it out by eating & drinking more than I should, I’m into my music & also spend too much time & effort on Twitter & Instagram.

What are you most excited about working at Executive Network Group?

Will Terry:I’m really excited to work with a company that are so invested in adding real value to their markets.

Will Ross: I’m excited to be part of a fun, driven, mature business I can see myself building a successful career with.
